DEBRA Messing has criticised the E! network for failing to pay women the same as men in a live interview on the channel.
In a statement to People on Sunday, Sadler said, "I am immensely grateful for the outpouring of support today. That's something that could change tommorrow", Messing said.
Sadler said that when she attempted to renegotiate her salary to match that of her male co-star, E! refused to meet her number.
Sadler recently announced she would leave E!
"I'm wearing black to stand in solidarity with my sisters all over the globe, and I'm here to celebrate the rollout of this incredible initiative, Time's Up", she continued explaining to Rancic.
In a post on her personal blog, Sadler wrote she discovered the pay discrepancy while negotiating the contract with the network.
"As much as I wanted to stay, I do know my worth, I do know the inner workings of the network, and I just wanted what was fair and reasonable". Or at least come close?
