June 8 is still in the spring (albeit at the very end of the season) so Red Dead Redemption 2 wouldn't technically miss its proposed release window. It should be noted that previously, these "accidental" leaks from Coolshop turned out to be surprisingly accurate.
The first trailer for the game was released all the way back in October 2016, at the time promising a release in "Fall 2017".
You can pre-order Red Dead Redemption 2 from the Microsoft Store for $59.99. The protagonist of the sequel, contrary to expectations of fans, young will not be Marston, but a completely new character. Rockstar confirmed in October of previous year that it was developing a sequel to Red Dead Redemption which was released back in 2010. However, Coolshop has a history of somewhat accurately leaking Rockstar games' release dates before the dates have been released to the public.

June 8 is still half a year away, which, in spite of not being a major difference to Spring, still instills a feeling of dreaded distance. Rockstar thus far has been tight-lipped regarding details of the game including the timing of its launch, only slipping us tidbits and trailers here and there.
All of this needs to be taken with a huge grain of salt as Rockstar has not released any official information on the games release date.
