The first major Monster Hunter World update is coming out on March 22, bringing with it a variety of new changes to the way that you play the game. Starting March 22 players will begin to find themselves face to face with Deviljho, a fierce beast whose endless stomach has him in search of any monsters or hunters that lie in his path.
This update will also introduce balance changes for a lot of weapon types as well as give them new features.
Now shifting things to a much lighter mood... shortly after the arrival of the mean pickle in Monster Hunter: World, we'll be hosting our very first seasonal event: the Spring Blossom Fest. The game values its multiplayer also, and with skins and crossovers such as Devil May Cry and Mega Man, it is obvious to see that Capcom is looking further into the future by expanding its universe into something that players won't be able to tear themselves away from.
During the same time period, a new rocket-powered Great Sword weapon, the Wyvern Ignition will also be available, presumably earned through an event quest. For more information, visit Capcom's Unity Blog.
Finally, Capcom is letting players the chance to edit the gender and physical appearance of each player's hunter, although this will be in the form of a one-use only token, so be wise about what changes are you going to make.
Other major changes include reduced loading times, the ability to return to the Gathering Hall multiplayer area after a quest, alongside a raft of balance tweaks to nearly all of the game's 14 weapon types.
