You might recognise the white Alexander McQueen dress with a jewelled collar from the Girls Trip premiere, or from Saturday Night Live. But, she later explained, the dress was so expensive she didn't want to wear it just once.
People who picked up on it sung Haddish's praises. "I'm so happy the world is finally being exposed to [my work]", she said. She says today reminded her family that representation truly matters.
The "Girls Trip" comic donned her go-to Alexander McQueen gown Sunday night to present the Oscar for Best Animated/Live Action Short alongside fellow amusing woman Mia Rudolph. "I feel so much joy in my heart".
