While the multi-day event is a big draw for developers who build apps and services for Apple platforms, WWDC also marks the first look at upcoming updates and releases expected from the Cupertino, California-based company.
In order to purchase a ticket to WWDC, developers must have signed up to be a member of the Apple Developer Program or Apple Developer Enterprise Program as of this morning, March 13.
Apple will hold WWDC 2018 from June 4-June 8. If your name is pulled out of the hat, the credit card associated with your Apple ID will be charged $1,599 United States dollars, or the equivalent in local currency for those not living in the U.S.
