Amazon keeps adding new skills to its virtual assistant Alexa to make the user experience more seamless.
Amazon Key also integrates with Alexa, meaning you can use your voice to lock and unlock your door using your Echo or other Alexa-enabled device. Compatible Echo devices include just about everything, though the Echo Tap is now not supported. After a minute or two, it should be ready to go, and you'll just have to remind yourself to have a friendly chat with Alexa as you're enjoying your morning coffee. The retailer's latest announcement may help drive home that fact.
