Facebook account. When the app is in Sleep Mode, kids can not send or receive messages or video calls, play with the creative camera or receive notifications. If they try to use the app, they'll see a message telling them that the app is in Sleep Mode and that they should come back later. The company has recently announced that they will be introducing more parental controls to YouTube Kids where it will give parents more control over the content that their kids can and cannot view. But parents also told us they would like controls that make the app inaccessible at a certain time, like during dinner, homework time or bedtime.

According to this new Sleep Mode features, parents can now set the times when their Children are not allowed to use this service. Go to the Facebook app and tap on to the Child's app from the profile section. Moreover, the app allows Parents to add or delete contacts, and sends them notifications if their children report or block anyone they have been chatting with. Google hopes this is another step in the right direction of making YouTube Kids a safe-space for the 11 million children who watch videos in the app every week.
However, before enforcing such a feature, Facebook urges all the parents to have conversations with their children. Then, you can set the times that you want your child to not have access to the device.
