Ireland's entry to the Eurovision song contest "Together" - co-wrote by Wicklow man Mark Caplice -has made it through to this year's final in Lisbon. "I love Eurovision so I have been searching for the right opportunity to be part of it. I have a strong Finnish and worldwide team with me, together we're able to make great things happen". "I was always a musician and it helped me overcome these obstacles".
Back in March we featured Ireland's Eurovision video entry, "Together", by singer-songwriter Ryan O'Shaughnessy, which featured a gay couple dancing down the street after leaving Dublin's Temple Bar. Following countless days and hours of preparations, the first live show from the Altice Arena is already over, and its results are (yaaas) in!
The second semi-final, which includes Australia's Jessica Mauboy, is scheduled for Friday, May 11, and you can tune in live at 5am AEST.
They will hope to overturn Spain's dismal performance in 2017 when "Do It For Your Lover" performed by Manel Navarro ended in twenty-sixth place - and last.
