Fred has completed his transfer to Manchester United.
Manchester United announced on Tuesday they have agreed a deal to sign Brazilian global midfielder Fred from Shakhtar Donetsk as Jose Mourinho seeks to topple reigning Premier League Champions Manchester City.
United are in need of midfield reinforcements with Michael Carrick retiring and Marouane Fellaini out of contract.
And the Red Devils are now said to be considering a bid in the region of £75m-100m to bring the 25-year-old to Old Trafford this summer.
United are thought to be happy with paying up to £80m for Milinkovic-Savic but could move for Paris Saint-Germain star Marco Verratti if Lazio don't budge on the price.
"Official club announcement in due course".
United might not yet be finished with transfer activity prior to the June 14 kickoff of the World Cup.
Brazil global midfielder Fred was reportedly undergoing his medical yesterday (Monday) ahead of a transfer from Shakhtar Donetsk.
Chelsea forward Willian, who is now on global duty with the 25-year-old ahead of the World Cup, believes he has a bright future and will make the grade in England. I am happy for him.
Fred came on as a second-half substitute in Sunday's 2-0 friendly win over Croatia at Anfield but remained coy when asked about United's interest. Pep Guardiola was very impressed when Fred played against Manchester City for Shakhtar in the Champions League in 2017-18.
