Dying Light 2, evolving the parkour-inspired survival horror with a new, wildly branching consequences system; and Capcom's slick-looking Devil May Cry 5. It will be a game that will have 2.5D graphics and 4K resolution on the Xbox One X. It will support three player local cooperative multiplayer.
Microsoft's cloud engineers are now working on a new game streaming network, which Spencer says will allow for "console quality gaming on any device", including mobile devices. Forza Horizon 4 looked gorgeous, moving its high-speed racing to the Scottish countryside. With the Xbox team now working on its next console, as revealed by Phil Spencer as he was closing out the show, this could have so easily been another year of Microsoft treading water. But for us fans of everything with four wheels, the biggest title revealed would have to be Forza Horizon 4 developed by United Kingdom -based Playground Games. This is the first new Battletoads since Battletoads Arcade came out in 1994. Microsoft also is forming a new studio called The Initiative in Santa Monica, Calif., to be headed by industry veteran Darrell Gallagher.
Microsoft bought four gaming studios, including the makers of popular games "Forza" and "Hellblade", in a move to increase emphasis on creating its own games for Xbox.
It's also about time that 343 Industries unveiled the next Halo game.
But this wasn't Microsoft's only big news. The company did not give any information about the game beyond a teaser trailer, but the name would imply either a Fortnite-like battle royale style game or a persistent world.
