De Niro has publicly criticised Trump over the past year. The actor made headlines by yelling "F- Trump" in June during CBS' live telecast of the Tony Awards.
Trump said there are dramatic differences between the two political parties; the ruling Republican and the opposition Democratic. MSNBC reported a second suspicious package also was discovered. Tom Steyer, a major Democratic donor, also said Friday that a suspicious package mailed to him was intercepted in California, but this was not among the 13 listed in the federal complaint. Agents had been searching for the package since Wednesday.
Other officials said the devices contained in the envelopes were similar to one found in the mailbox of the Soros home and later detonated by police. "And we will not allow them to win", Cuomo said.
"It does remain possible that further packages have been or could be mailed", William Sweeney, assistant director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, told an afternoon news conference in NY.
The former state secretary said "we are fine" at a Florida fundraiser.
On Wednesday, CNN evacuated its NY offices after an apparent pipe bomb and an envelope with white powder were discovered in the mailroom.
The first bomb was found on Monday at the home of George Soros, a billionaire activist known to fund pro-democracy and liberal political groups.
On Wednesday, authorities were at Biden's home in Greenville, Delaware after a suspicious package addressed to him was intercepted in Washington, D.C., say sources.
The bombs found earlier this week were intended for at least seven officials, including Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters.
New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio called the explosive device sent to the CNN offices in the Time Warner Center "an effort to terrorize" and "an act of terror attempting to undermine our free press".
In New York, meanwhile, police said a suspicious package was discovered in the Tribeca area of Manhattan in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Attorney General Jeff Sessions said Thursday that "across the administration, we condemn the actions that led to these activities in the strongest possible terms and are determined to make sure that we get to the bottom of it and justice is done".
The device was removed from the Tribeca office on Greenwich Street and transported in the bomb truck to the NYPD's police facility at Rodman's Neck in the Bronx.
A package recovered at a Manhattan postal facility on Friday was addressed to Clapper, a CNN contributor, at the network.
"Brennan, a frequent critic of Trump, said: "Look in the mirror".
Authorities have branded the parcel bombs, coming less than two weeks before national elections that could alter the balance of power on Capitol Hill, as an act of terrorism, though they have declined to say whether the devices were built to be functional.
"Whether it's one person or a network, not really sure at this point", NY police chief James O'Neill told CNN, saying he expected those responsible to be identified and arrested within the next few days.
"There is a total and complete lack of understanding at the White House about the seriousness of their continued attacks on the media", Zucker said.
Responding to the allegations, the businessman said they were "probably true", Rolling Stone reports.
Apart from the markings, the return address is also the same, that of South Florida Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
Federal Bureau of Investigation and police officials worked swiftly to untangle clues this week as the packages mounted, sometimes several in the same day.
CNN's NY bureau in midtown Manhattan was also reportedly sent a package.
